In a recent project with our client Teckentrup, one of the largest door and gate manufacturers in Europe, we were once again able to demonstrate how logistics and IT can be seamlessly integrated.
Tailor-Made Solutions in Focus
Within just three months, we successfully connected Teckentrup’s new shop platform with our internal ERP and warehouse management system (WMS) – a customized solution designed to ensure maximum transparency and efficiency in logistics processes.
At the heart of the project was the development of a bespoke interface that enables the automated exchange of item data, inventory levels, and orders.
Based on the API documentation provided by the client, our team of project managers and experienced developers developed a high-performance communication solution that operates in a stable, reliable, and near real-time manner.
Creating Compatibility
Since Teckentrup had previously been using a different shop system, extensive adjustments were required on our end. Existing structures within our ERP system had to be revised and expanded.
New import and export routines, customized data logics, and enhanced reporting functions were implemented to ensure a complete and seamless integration of the new platform.
Our objective: to maintain operations with minimal interruptions and no impact on daily business – and that’s exactly what we achieved together.
