Appearance alone is not enough: the process must also suit the substrate, use and care.

A concrete choice

Surfaces with a difference you can feel.

Metal engraving, a raised coating and textile decoration show three effects on samples. A smooth metal surface needs a different solution from a coated item or stretchy fabric. Suitability is checked on the actual substrate.

Methods

Choose a process with its limits in mind.

01Sublimation, flock or flexSublimation requires suitable polyester or coated surfaces; the base colour affects the design. Flock feels velvety, flex smooth. Stretch, heat sensitivity and care limit textile applications.

02Doming or pad printingDoming creates a raised resin layer on suitable emblems and surfaces. Pad printing also reaches small curved items; usable area, number of colours and fine details are checked on the product.

03Laser engravingMetal, wood or suitable leather produce different contrasts depending on the surface. Coating, material response and artwork size matter; engraving cannot simply guarantee a requested colour.

Check the material sample, approve the finish.

We choose the process by product, artwork and quantity and review its effect on the agreed sample.

01Review and approvalYou confirm surface, contrast and position. If the material is unsuitable, we propose another finish and sample it before the batch.

02Handoff and exceptionsInspection, storage and shipping then follow through the existing operation.

Why does the actual material need a sample?

Coatings, base colours and surfaces respond differently. A sample shows contrast, adhesion and detail; testing is agreed around the intended use.
