Use Case · D2C Brand Store
A D2C store needs more than a designed interface. Catalogue, payment, stock, shipping and service are prepared together and tested against a complete order.
Define products, variants, content and audience for the store.
Test the shop, payment and order handover together.
Launch stock management, shipping and support with clear ownership.
Two cases from ongoing business. A German kitchen supplier is launching its own direct-sales brand: heavy goods, freight-forwarder dispatch, Amazon as a second channel, plus WEEE and CE obligations. A traditional German brewery wants to run its fan shop professionally: jerseys, fan merchandise, sweepstakes with dispatch logistics. Both faced the same question: who builds this — and who runs it afterward, day after day?
PROWERB takes on both. For the kitchen supplier: building and operating the brand store for its direct-sales brand, Amazon brand registration, SKU and master-data maintenance, WEEE/CE compliance — and the same organization manages goods receipt, inventory and freight-forwarder dispatch for the heavy goods.
For the brewery: the official fan shop on Shopify, behind it goods receipt and inventory management for the fan merchandise, order and invoice processing, sweepstake dispatch including delivery-status communication. Today PROWERB operates more than 50 active customer online shops — each under the respective customer's brand.
For larger fulfillment takeovers, seven phases lead from master data and contracts through systems and stock transfer to go-live. Around 14 weeks is a possible planning framework, depending on assortment, data quality, interfaces, stock availability and approvals. Individual campaigns and digital projects receive their own project plan. The five groups below summarise setup and subsequent operations, rather than the seven individual takeover phases. For acceptance, follow a test order through payment, inventory, dispatch and invoice; returns and missing stock receive their own exception paths.
Item master, assortment logic, framework agreement. The foundation is in place before anything goes live.
Selected shop functions connect to operational stock and order management in PROWERB Core and the required MEP portal tasks. Roles and feedback depend on the commissioned setup.
Goods receipt, inventory build-up, storage locations — from fan merchandise to heavy goods.
Front end, payment and invoicing processes, test orders, go-live.
Ongoing shop operations, master-data maintenance, marketplace connection, compliance. The part that never stops.
The kitchen supplier's direct-sales brand sells in its own brand store and via Amazon — brand-registered, with maintained item master and regulated WEEE/CE obligations. The heavy-goods logistics behind it runs under the same roof: goods receipt, inventory, freight-forwarder management with exception handling, advance notice. The brewery runs its official fan shop; sweepstake prizes travel through the same logistics as shop orders. No system break between ongoing operations and campaign.
Agencies and logistics providers have different service profiles. What matters is who actually owns the shop, inventory bookings, payment, dispatch and returns, and which handovers are agreed.

Yes — operations are the actual product. Shop operations, master-data maintenance, marketplace connection and compliance continue after go-live, backed by goods receipt, inventory and dispatch from the same company. Today PROWERB operates more than 50 active customer online shops.
Yes. For a German kitchen supplier's direct-sales brand, the same organization manages goods receipt, inventory and freight-forwarder dispatch for the heavy goods — including exception handling and advance notice. The same process applies from fan merchandise to furniture cartons.
Under yours. Each of the 50-plus customer online shops runs under its respective customer's brand — PROWERB works in the background. Example brewery fan shop: the brand's official presence on Shopify, with order and invoice processing plus sweepstake dispatch running invisibly behind it.
PROWERB CORE, the in-house ERP and warehouse management system with real-time bookings, plus the MEP platform and interfaces to existing customer systems. Front end, inventory management and dispatch thereby work on the same data status.
Yes. In the kitchen supplier case, Amazon brand registration, SKU and master-data maintenance, and WEEE/CE compliance are part of the mandate — the brand store and marketplace presence run on the same inventory management. To get started, a non-binding Needs Check in under 60 seconds is enough: assortment, channels, timeline.
Describe the assortment, channels and timeline. We'll respond with an assessment of what build-up and operations actually require.
