Excess inventory, damaged packaging, customer return, a suspended listing: Amazon reports the removal — and from that point, remission is no longer a marketplace topic but logistics. Cartons arrive, goods must be received, inspected, assessed, booked and made sellable again. PROWERB runs both under one roof: the Amazon account and the warehouse behind it. Remission, returns and restocking run from a single source — from the removal order to the return into FBA.

Returns from marketplace operations
The account team links the removal order, returns report and potential reimbursement case. The warehouse records the goods actually received against the agreed inspection criteria. Sale, refurbishment or withdrawal follow the approved decision. Product compliance questions go to the manufacturer or appointed specialists.
A removal shipment contains saleable items, damaged packaging and incomplete units. A single goods receipt is not enough. In this example, each group is assessed against the agreed inspection scheme. The condition decision determines whether goods return to stock, receive rework or require separate handling.
At PROWERB, remission is not a special run but a defined track with a clear goal: turn returns back into bookable, sellable inventory — and cleanly route out the rest.
Every marketplace mandate runs at PROWERB as its own tenant in inventory management — in ongoing operations with JTL. On the warehouse side, the in-house-developed ERP/WMS books every movement in real time, RFID-capable and traceable down to the unit: receipt, classification, reconditioning, return flow. Behind it stands the warehouse hall built in Kleve in 2022, with 25,000 square meters — enough space that remitted goods don't sit in the way but move through inspection and reconditioning. More than 2 million shipments leave the warehouses per year. Returns are day-to-day business in that, not a special case.
For a leading manufacturer of abrasives technology, PROWERB runs the Amazon presence as full service and as its own JTL tenant: Brand Store, FBA processing, remission and returns management, Prime Day and Black Friday deals, listing optimization — flanked by document flow, accounting correspondence and master-data maintenance.
For a construction-chemicals supplier, PROWERB built the e-commerce presence and runs Amazon FBA with listing optimization, returns processing and DAC7 reporting obligations. Two ranges, the same pattern: remission is part of the mandate — not its exception.
The process is deliberately unspectacular. Remission works when every unit takes the same path — and every decision is reflected in inventory.
Trigger the removal order in Seller Central, or have PROWERB trigger it; the notification to the warehouse runs alongside.
Goods receipt matched against the remission notice: count, record, document discrepancies.
Condition check per unit — sellable, recondition, or route out.
Repackaging, labeling, kitting where needed. Every decision is booked into inventory in real time.
Sellable goods go back into FBA or into dispatch from the PROWERB warehouse; routed-out goods are documented and either recovered or disposed of.
The return of FBA inventory from Amazon fulfillment centers to the seller, triggered via a removal order — for example due to excess inventory, discontinued listings, damaged packaging, or to avoid long-term storage fees. The goods come back by parcel or pallet and must be received, inspected and reassessed.
Yes — if they are sellable after inspection, or become sellable again through reconditioning: repackaging, new labeling, re-kitted sets. PROWERB books the goods and returns them into FBA; alternatively, dispatch runs directly from our own warehouse, for example for D2C or B2B orders.
They get routed out with documentation. Whether recovery or disposal: the decision lies with the customer, processing and inventory booking are handled by PROWERB — traceable down to the unit.
Both occur. Remission and returns run as a standalone mandate or as part of full marketplace operations with Brand Store, FBA, deals and listing optimization. An abrasives manufacturer runs its entire operation with PROWERB — remission within it is a routine process.
Yes. For a construction-chemicals supplier, PROWERB covered DAC7 reporting obligations as part of the Amazon mandate. Such compliance topics run as a component of marketplace operations, instead of bouncing back and forth between retailer and tax advisor as an open issue.
Range, remission triggers, order of magnitude, current setup — that's all the first briefing needs. You'll get back an assessment of how receipt, inspection and return flow would run at PROWERB, and what can be connected to the existing Amazon operation.
