A Closed Shop is an access-restricted online shop: only someone with a login can order — employees, dealers or partners of a company. In the marketing context, it serves as an employee shop or B2B ordering portal for promotional products, corporate fashion and equipment, usually with stored budgets, quotas and approval workflows.
An open shop sells to anyone. A Closed Shop controls who orders what, under what conditions: range, prices and budgets can be set per user group, orders run through cost centers instead of private accounts. At the same time, it protects the brand — only what has passed CI approval goes into circulation. With corporate fashion, size runs and personalized items are added — requirements a standard web shop doesn't cover.
PROWERB runs Closed Shops and ordering portals for customer brands — as an operator in the background. The portal carries the customer's brand; behind it sits PROWERB CORE with order, article and inventory management as well as warehousing, finishing and dispatch in Kleve. Order processing, invoicing and credit note processes, quotas and approval levels are part of ongoing operations, as are corporate fashion ranges with size management and name printing.

For larger fulfillment takeovers, we use the seven-phase method: from requirements and master data through system integration, testing and stock transfer to go-live and handover to ongoing operations. Around 14 weeks is a planning guide for that scope; data quality, interfaces and stock transfer determine the actual date. Smaller or purely digital assignments receive a suitable introduction plan.
