A promotional-products shop is an online ordering portal for promotional items, printed materials and POS materials. Within a company, it is often a closed shop for employees, dealers or branches, with approved ranges, budgets, cost centres and approvals. Public promotional-products shops also exist; the term describes the range and purpose, not necessarily restricted access. Warehousing, production and shipping connect to the ordering process.

Without a shop, promotional-products orders travel by e-mail, Excel list or word of mouth — with all the consequences: no inventory overview, no budget control, CI violations through local ad-hoc purchasing. A promotional-products shop bundles the demand of a distributed organization at a single point.
Procurement sees consumption figures instead of individual invoices, marketing approves artwork once instead of a hundred times, and the branch office receives in days what used to take weeks.
What matters is less the software than the operation behind it: inventory management, replenishment and dispatch determine whether the shop delivers what the start page promises.
PROWERB operates more than 50 customer online shops with portal, storage and shipping. Stock is managed in our ERP/WMS PROWERB CORE. The introduction plan depends on the range, data, interfaces and scope of any stock transfer.
Four terms from the same stretch:
It focuses on promotional items and marketing materials. In a typical closed company shop, sales teams, branches and trade partners order from approved ranges using budgets or cost centres. Public shops can also serve end customers.
For larger fulfillment takeovers, we use the seven-phase method: from requirements and master data through system integration, testing and stock transfer to go-live and handover to ongoing operations. Around 14 weeks is a planning guide for that scope; data quality, interfaces and stock transfer determine the actual date. Smaller or purely digital assignments receive a suitable introduction plan.
Everyone who needs material locally: field sales, branch offices, dealers, event teams. Each user sees only the items and budgets approved for them — marketing keeps control over artwork and consumption.
The order goes straight to the warehouse: picking, packing, dispatch. For permanently stocked promotional items, more than 95 percent of shipments leave the PROWERB warehouse the same day. The same-day share is an operating metric for permanently stocked promotional items, not a promise for each order. Dispatch depends on available stock, complete and approved order data, the agreed cut-off and working days. We clarify the reporting period and applicable service level for your project.
