Use Case · Inbound Logistics
An urgent inbound delivery needs the same clear references as daily operations. The exception process connects the advance notice, receiving checks and stock booking before goods become available for an order.
Confirm the advance notice, products and expected quantities with the client.
Record actual quantities and condition, and report discrepancies.
After booking, communicate available quantities for further processing.
Physically arrived doesn't mean available. As long as a delivery isn't booked in, no shop can sell it, no picking can access it, no campaign can count on it. In ongoing operations, this is a matter of sequence. It becomes critical when sequence isn't enough: the restock for a running promotion arrives on a Friday.
The display material for the retail launch arrives one day before dispatch. Trade-show stock is stuck inbound. Then goods receipt needs a process that recognizes urgency — without the booking quality suffering.
Atlas & Nexus · PROWERB systems
Atlas gives clients access to products, stock, campaigns and orders. Nexus supports operational processing. We agree the views and handovers needed for your project.

The exception process follows the same system as ongoing operations — it's simply moved forward. Booking happens in PROWERB Core, the in-house ERP and warehouse management system: gapless, in real time, RFID-capable.
The urgent delivery is announced — via delivery notice, phone call, or short-notice email. Scheduling moves the process forward and reserves dock time and staff.
Unloading, counting and inspection happen at the dock: do packages, items and condition match the advance notice and delivery note?
Checked quantities are recorded in the system. Blocked or unresolved goods remain separate; only release makes stock available for orders.
Shortfall, breakage or wrong delivery? Discrepancies are recorded and handed to the supplier or carrier as exception handling — the available quantity is booked immediately regardless.
Dispatch planning confirms which released quantities can ship within the agreed cut-off. Urgent receipt alone does not establish a same-day commitment.
Since 2022, Prowerb has run the e-commerce fulfillment for Borussia Mönchengladbach. The operation is inbound-intensive: goods receipts, inventory bookings, relocations and clarifying delivery discrepancies shape the daily work, along with stock-count checks during ongoing operations. Vaillant and Oatly have also had the goods-receipt-and-inventory-management workstream in their mandate for years; for Monster Energy it runs to the rhythm of numerous promotions.

Via delivery notice, phone call, or short-notice email. Scheduling moves the process forward and reserves dock time and staff — you're talking to a dedicated contact, not a call center.
Discrepancies are recorded at the dock and handed to the supplier or carrier as exception handling. Crucially: the available quantity is booked immediately regardless — the campaign doesn't wait for the resolution.

No. The exception process follows the same system as ongoing operations — it's simply moved forward. Unloading, counting and visual inspection against the advance notice and delivery note run through fully even under deadline pressure.
More than 55,000 pallet spaces across the group; goods receipt at the Kleve site on the Lower Rhine is managed in the in-house warehouse management system. Inbound-intensive mandates such as the fan-shop fulfillment for Borussia Mönchengladbach (since 2022), as well as Vaillant, Monster Energy and Oatly, run on the same processes.
