Product development

Turn a busy roadmap into a deliverable module.

A pilot market introduces new requirements, an AI feature needs a clear use case, and the internal team is already preparing the next release. External support therefore starts with a defined brief: who uses the feature, which data is available and how will it be accepted? These questions establish the scope and align the work with your existing teams and systems.

01Full product roadmapWe define a module so that requirements, dependencies and delivery progress can be reviewed together. Priorities and approvals remain aligned with your product owner.
02AI without product maturityPrototypes exist, but the path to stable operations is missing. Between demo and daily use lies project work.
03Many stakeholders, distributed teams →Corporate environment, pilot markets, product teams — coordination eats development time if the service provider doesn't work in sync.
04Hospitality in its usage contextA menu feature needs to fit the daily experience of guests and service staff. We include venue workflows, changing offers and the teams involved when defining requirements.

Collaboration and services

Clear responsibilities from the first brief to handover.

PROWERB works in gastro-tech projects as an outsourced product team: embedded in the customer's roadmap, workspaces and release cadence — backed by a self-developed platform.

01Tool and module developmentDevelopment of individual tools and modules within the customer’s product. We review the existing architecture, interfaces and operating requirements before implementation. The agreed scope guides development, testing and handover.
02Project work in the AI-menu contextProven project practice on AI-supported functions around the digital menu — from module planning to implementation.
03Own platform foundationPROWERB Core combines ERP, WMS and a process engine; the MEP platform adds customizable marketing modules. We assess the relevant components against the requirements of each digital project. The linked platform pages explain the technology in more detail.
04Collaboration in project modeShared workspaces, regular team meetings and visible delivery progress for each module. Open questions, approvals and next steps are recorded together throughout the project.
05Roadmap: promotion in the menuIn development: promotions from the planning platform going directly into the digital menu — time- and event-triggered, with incentives for service staff.
Project example

Module development for an international gastro-tech team.

For the gastro-tech unit of an international trading group, PROWERB develops tools and modules around AI-supported menu features. Shared workspaces and regular team meetings connect the work with the product organisation. This assignment covers digital development and project work; warehousing and shipping are outside its scope.

Experience in hospitality

Development informed by hospitality operations.

PROWERB manages POS logistics for Coca-Cola across retail and hospitality. For Oatly, our work includes delivering and stocking refrigerators and chest freezers, plus welcome packs for new hospitality partners. These services provide insight into venue operations.

We also have experience with AI in customer service: during the Bitburger summer campaign, AI answered more than 85 per cent of end-customer email enquiries. We assess which of these experiences are relevant to your digital product by looking at the specific module.

06 · FAQ

The most frequent questions about digital projects with PROWERB.

Does PROWERB also do pure digital projects?

Yes. An ongoing gastro-tech mandate is a pure digital and project mandate with no logistics component. Development, coordination, delivery — all in project mode.

What does the collaboration look like in practice?

Through shared workspaces and fixed team meetings. We work in sync with your product organization, with clear delivery states per module.

What technical foundation does PROWERB work on?

We review your team’s existing architecture and operational requirements. Our own platform components can be added where useful; interfaces, testing and handover are agreed for the commissioned module.

Can logistics be added later?

If the product needs physical processes — dispatch, campaign logistics, incentive fulfillment — both live under the same roof. That's not a requirement: the digital mandate stands on its own.

What should your product do next?

Describe your users, the current product and the next step you want to achieve. An existing prototype, the key interfaces and your release target are useful starting points. Together, we define a module that can be delivered.
