In the PROWERB Lab, an idea becomes a sample. Material, motif and feel can be reviewed before series production.

Process visualizationHow does a motif look on coarse fabric? Does a transfer hold on synthetic fibre? A sample in hand answers those questions better than a design. Corrections can be reviewed before the production run.

The areas range from sampling and material expertise to digital tools for the work that follows.
In 2024, PROWERB founded the Promotional Products business unit; in 2025 it opened the Promotional Products Hub in Dortmund — finishing runs at the Kleve headquarters. For series production, 30 transfer presses stand in a row there: what emerges as a sample in the Lab goes into mass printing, kitting & assembly and its own warehouse without being handed off to a third party. Inventory runs through bills of materials in the in-house ERP system, and every finished series stays fully booked. The company's own team clothing bearing the red plus is flocked on the same equipment.
For Arizona, PROWERB partly sources and finishes the textiles itself when new product highlights drive demand — flip-flops and hoodies, short-term peaks included. For flaschenpost, carton design is part of the collaboration: proprietary cartons, mixed-drink crates, kitted and delivered via the central warehouse as well as directly to the hubs. And we support Erdinger through product launches — from the small giveaway to truck-sized special campaigns.
From material comparison to the finished sample: keep artwork, substrate and test objective connected through all four steps. The approved sample becomes the reference for production.
Brand, occasion, target group, quantity range, time window. Whether it's a standing item or a one-off campaign determines process and material.
Choice of carrier and finishing based on substrate, motif and print run. If the material is missing, it gets sourced.
The physical sample is made in-house. Touch it, check it, correct it — every change flows directly into the next version.
The sample becomes a series: mass printing on presses running in parallel, kitting & assembly, warehousing. Dispatch and replenishment continue under the same roof.
Five: flocking, transfer printing, embroidery, screen printing and direct-to-garment printing. Which process fits depends on substrate, motif and print run — in doubt, direct comparison on the sample decides. The processes in detail are covered on the Materials & Finishing page.
Both. Mass printing runs on transfer presses in a row, followed by kitting & assembly, warehousing and dispatch under the same roof. Standing promotional items leave the warehouse on more than 95 percent of order days — the same day. The same-day share is an operating metric for permanently stocked promotional items, not a promise for each order. Dispatch depends on available stock, complete and approved order data, the agreed cut-off and working days. We clarify the reporting period and applicable service level for your project.
There is no fixed threshold. Samples are made individually; series range from short-term special campaigns to permanently listed ranges. We clarify which process is economical for which volume in the context of the specific brief.
No. Alongside product launches, the lab develops campaign extras, replenishment for ongoing ranges and packaging samples. The technology and R&D overview also explains how hardware, software and AI support operations.
Send us the logo, the motif or the product itself. We will discuss which material and process suit the project.
