Planned: shop events in the right Slack channel.

Some shop events need a team’s attention, such as a new approval request. A targeted message in the team’s working channel can establish the connection to the request.

The Slack integration is planned. Channels, permitted content and access rights are defined in the project.

Example view of an individually designed Agora shop. The steps explain the workflow using fixed example data.

The Slack integration is planned as a separate connection. With your team, we define which events are useful, which contents may be transferred and which target channel is intended.

How it works.

  1. Choose the event

A clear trigger is defined, for example a new request for the responsible approval role.

  2. Define the message

The intended contents explain the trigger and next step. Only the agreed information should leave the shop.

  3. Configure the channel

Channel, access and responsible team are agreed with the customer. A channel should not create unintended additional visibility.

  4. Plan error handling

Status, responsibility and a possible retry are defined for failed transmission.

This page describes the intended project scope.

The public example message shows the relationship between approval and team communication. It does not connect a Slack channel or establish active delivery. The integration is planned, implemented and tested with the intended channel for your project.

What we configure for your shop.

Suitable events
Which notifications help a decision, and which would only create extra messages?
Message contents
Which request details may the addressed team see in the channel?
Access and permissions
Who configures the connection, and which permissions are required in the destination?
Acceptance
An appropriate test checks the event, recipient channel, contents and failure case together.

Frequently asked questions.

Is Slack already connected to this demo?

No. The page explains a planned integration and a corresponding example notification. It sends no message to an actual channel.

Is approval decided directly in Slack?

A notification and a decision performed within a channel are different requirements. The intended action and permissions are explicitly defined within the project.

Fits your workflow.

How should your shop use this feature?

We develop Agora and use it to build your individual B2B shop. Let us discuss the workflow, configuration and integrations you need.
