Define authorised users
First, define the people or groups who should use the shop and who is responsible for access.
Provide access
The invitation or agreed sign-in method leads to the intended shop. Open self-registration is a separate requirement and is not assumed.
Assign the company and role
After sign-in, the configured membership and permitted tasks apply. The user receives the corresponding shop context.
Keep access current
When a person moves or leaves, their assignment is updated or access is suspended. We agree who initiates these changes.
Access and permissions work together.
Successful sign-in does not establish which tasks a user may perform. Company, role and authorised catalogue together define the usable shop. We therefore discuss entry, later changes and the end of an authorisation.
